Official Rules & How to Play
May 12, 2008 – June 20, 2008
A complete copy of these rules can be obtained at the offices of Cumulus Broadcasting LLC WNNK-FM/WINK 104 WTPA-FM/93.5 WWKL-FM/HOT 92 WTCY-AM/1400 THE TOUCH, 2300 Vartan Way, Harrisburg, PA 17110 during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm or by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to the above address.
1. No purchase is necessary. Purchase does not increase the odds of winning.
2. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and reside in the (717) or (570) area codes.
3. All contests are open to the general public, except for employees and interns, agents, subsidiaries and affiliates of Cumulus Broadcasting LLC, participating sponsors, their immediate families, household members and all other radio industry employees.
4. An individual may win an on-going contest only once per six (6) month period unless otherwise specifically stated. An individual may win other seasonal or one-time contests only once for the duration of the contest.
5. The contest will begin Monday, May 12, 2008 and will run through Friday, June 20, 2008.
6. The following Cumulus Broadcasting LLC stations located in the Harrisburg, PA area will collectively conduct the contest: WNNK-FM/WINK 104, WWKL-FM/HOT 92, WTPA-FM/93.5, WTCY-AM/1400 THE TOUCH.
7. To participate and win: Every weekday during the contest dates of May 12, 2008 until Friday, June 20, 2008 (excluding Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2008), between 7:00 and 7:30 AM the stations will announce the one hour window when the specific sounder or audio indicator will be played. When participants hear that station specific sounder or audio indicator, they will call the special contest number, 717-901-5427 (717-901-5GAS.) The 100th caller after the sounder is played in its entirety on all stations will win the prize of $500 in free gas and groceries in the form of GIANT Food Stores gift cards. All calls are answered in one central location and only one winner is chosen each weekday. Each participating station may use a different name for their contest and a different sounder or audio indicator; however each station will conduct the mechanics of the contest the same. Each participating station will conduct the giveaway at the same time each contest day and promote the same contest phone number.
8. Cumulus Broadcasting LLC reserves the right to change any of this promotion and or the promotional elements.
9. The Cumulus Broadcasting LLC representative conducting the contest will determine all winners; their decisions and interpretations of these rules shall be final.
10. All State, Local, Federal and or other taxes, duties, tariffs, title fees, licensing fees, or other fees for prizes awarded become the sole responsibility of the winner. All those who win a prize / prizes valued at over $600 will be issued an IRS form 1099 to report their winnings.
11. All prizes are awarded "as is." Prizes are nontransferable and cannot be exchanged. Cumulus Broadcasting LLC shall not be responsible for the failure of sponsors to deliver prizes as promised.
12. All entrants and winners agree that Cumulus Broadcasting LLC, their affiliates, and sponsors shall have no liability and shall be held blameless for any injury, misfortune, or damage to either persons or property insured by entering, participating in, winning, or losing any contest by use or non-use of any prize received.
13. All prizes must be picked up at the Cumulus Broadcasting LLC business office during normal business hours (Monday through Friday from 8:30am until 4:30pm) no later then July 21, 2008. Prizes not picked up by close of business at 4:30pm on July 31, 2008, will be forfeited. All contest winners must sign a contest release waiver. Winners will also receive and must sign a copy of these contest rules. To claim prize, winners must present photo ID.
14. All entry blanks, forms, devices and materials, as well as all the information contained on or within, gathered during the course of entry, shall become the sole property of Cumulus Broadcasting LLC, their affiliates and sponsors to be used, disposed of or destroyed at the discretion of Cumulus Broadcasting LLC, their affiliates and sponsors.
15. All winners agree that Cumulus Broadcasting LLC, their affiliates and sponsors may broadcast or publish their name, city of residences, photo, video tape, film, or any other likeness, including their voice, recorded or live, for any reason Cumulus Broadcasting LLC, their affiliates and sponsors deems necessary without compensation. All winners will be further requires to hold Cumulus Broadcasting LLC, their affiliates and sponsors, blameless and without liability for such publication, broadcast or use.
16. Cumulus Broadcasting LLC reserves the right to end a contest at any time upon advanced notice to the public.
17. Each person may only win once during this contest.
18. Cumulus Broadcasting LLC reserves the right to require contestants to be present at drawings in order to win.
19. Violations of any of these rules or attempts to win any contest by fraud, deception, or cheating shall be grounds for Cumulus Broadcasting LLC to disqualify that individual from participating in all current and future contests and events at the sole discretion of the station, as well as forfeiture of any prize or prizes won by fraudulent means.
20. A winners list may be obtained after July 1, 2008 by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to the following address: Cumulus Broadcasting LLC, 2300 Vartan Way, Harrisburg, PA 17110. Attn: Spring 2008 Giveaway.
